Hope And Action

We're grateful for your donations!

Greetings SCDP Delegates, Alternates, and Guests

There are moments in life… when you realize… that no journey is ever traveled alone. This is one of those moments.

Every conversation we’ve had, every word of encouragement you’ve offered, every single person who has chosen to believe in what we are building - you have made this journey possible. You have reminded me that hope is not something we simply find.

Hope… is something we create.

We create it when we choose community over cynicism, and action over apathy. And make no mistake: right now, that action is urgently needed.

As we sit here today, we’ve successfully defeated redistricting. They wanted to tilt the playing field, but we stood together and made our voices heard. Now, we have 124 Democratic candidates who have stepped up, right now, to fight back. Some of them, myself included were on the front lines.

Now, the cynics will tell you it can’t be done. They’ll say the maps are too rigged now. But I’ve seen us work together, turning hope into action. To fix this mess, we don’t look to the cynics. We look to each other.

All 124 of these candidates are viable, they are electable, and they are ready. But none of them can cross the November finish line if we don’t invest in them today. Not next month. But right now.

You know, you can’t just demand a vote. You have to earn it. It takes several interactions to build relationships, to listen to folks, to remind them that hope is still alive. But hope requires a partner. Hope requires action. And it is going to take all of us to get there.

I still believe that better days are built by ordinary people who care enough to show up, to help one another, and to keep moving forward... Together.

So, I am asking you again to donate to your local candidates right now. Even if it’s only a dollar. Every single cent allows my team and other candidates' teams to reach one more person, to knock on one more door, and make one more call.

Thank you for your support. Thank you for your kindness. The road ahead is long, but I have never been more hopeful—because I know we are not walking it alone, but together. Thank you.
